Have you seen any headlines lately? Apparently principles of Leadership...things like Integrity, Trust, Judgment, and Selflessness...do matter after all.
We've all known them - very intelligent people, who got good grades in school, and who have no time for topics like teamwork and leadership, believing them to be distractions from "real business," which is clearly visible on the ledger or balance sheet. Newsflash! It seems that such distractions as Integrity may have some relation to financial statements. It just may be that some of those same people got us into the mess we're in now. It certainly wasn't the lack of intelligence that got us here.
And wait, there's more. It seems that some organizations, still hung-over from another era of dictatorial, task-oriented, centrally-controlled hierarchy, are experiencing some difficulties remaining relevant in today's world...keeping up with competition, understanding the marketplace, adapting to change, keeping good employees, or just plain getting them to execute that meticulously thought out strategic plan. And, worst of all, they just can't find a new system to fix themselves.
It's a good thing Trident Leadership is here to help out. Seriously, we're glad you're here, and we look forward to talking with you. Read on through our little home on the web, and I think you'll find that we are true believers in the power of the Team, the critical importance of good, team-minded leadership, and the impact of both on the bottom line.
On the other side of this economic dark period, some organizations are going to jump out of the starting gates with much greater energy and momentum than their competition. Those worth their salt recognize that now is the time to focus on unifying the team and refining mission objectives...and that is not the same as having a Mission Statement. The rest will come dragging along with business as usual, until they finally run out of cash for the last time. If you're serious about developing your organization, whatever its size, into a highly-effective team of decision-makers who willingly demonstrate the traits of leadership on behalf of the team everyday, then we would be privileged to work with you and your team. Give us a call and tell us what you're up to and where you want to go. We can help.
But, if you still think this brutal economic period isn't the very time when you most need to invest in your team's cohesion and leadership development...well, we wish you the best of luck.
