Trident Leadership believes that leadership can be learned and developed. Trident, therefore, exists less to teach than to facilitate that learning in an accessible, personal way. In fact, Trident Leadership is a consortium of former military, business leaders, and educators, who have come together with a unified purpose: to facilitate the study of, and implement the lessons of leadership, using the military experience. Our focus is, "The Battle-Ready Team," and we begin with the context of historic battlefields to help you achieve it.

Believing that shared experience is more useful to a team than lecture, our foundational program, the Battlefield Leadership Study, takes our clients on an immersive journey into the dramatic environment of real people and organizations in real crises, so that they may witness for themselves successes and failures of leadership and teamwork, and witness the real meaning of Selflessness, Integrity, and Courage...those behavioral traits we call the “Trident of Leadership.”

Our deliverables are the resolution of hard-won lessons from combat leaders and from empirical research, served together for experiential learning that is undeniable, impactful, and often life-changing for teams and for individuals. The payoff for our clients is an unfiltered look at the brutal facts of leadership and of teams, and examples of leaders at all levels who found ways to influence situations with action, through other people, having earned the ability to do so from those very people. Our clients have found tangible value in studying leadership in the most dynamic, chaotic environment imaginable, observing the influence and behaviors of real people cast into that situation, and in hearing what those leaders have to tell us about leading effectively in a world of rapid change.
